📢 Community Clean Up - Metal Recycling AND General Waste Disposal! 📢
Time to declutter your spaces! We're hosting a community clean-up event with separate bins for metal and general garbage to make it easy for everyone. Let's work together to tidy up our community!
🗓️ Date: Saturday, May 31, 2025 ⏰ Time: 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. 📍 Location: Glencairn Rec Centre Parking Lot, 2626 Dewdney Ave E
Metal Disposal Guidelines (for the METAL BIN):
✅ Metal Items ONLY in the designated metal bin.
✅ Motorized items (like lawnmowers) MUST be completely gas-free.
✅ Appliances (dishwashers, fridges, etc.) are welcome, but please ensure they are empty.
✅ Vehicle batteries should be placed carefully beside the METAL BIN.
✅ Barbecues are accepted; please place propane tanks next to the vehicle batteries (near the METAL BIN).
❌ NO COMPUTERS in the metal bin - please recycle these at Sarcan.
🗑️ General Garbage Bin: Use the clearly marked garbage bin for any non-metal waste you need to dispose of.

🏀 Adapted Sports Jam 🏒
Get ready for some fun in the gym! This program is designed for children with disabilities or motor development challenges to engage in a supportive and inclusive environment. Parental/support participation is recommended.
When: Sundays, May 25 – June 29
Where: Glencairn Neighbourhood Rec Centre (In Gym)
Class #1: 2:15 pm - 3:00 pm, Ages 4-7 (Capacity: 6)
Class #2: 3:15 pm - 4:00 pm, Ages 8-12 (Capacity: 8)
Cost: $45 for the sessions

🎨 Adapted Craft & Splash 💦
Join us for creative crafts in the arts/games room followed by fun at the spray pad! (We've also booked the gym as a backup for rainy or very hot days, so the program will run rain or shine!) This program is perfect for children with disabilities or sensory needs to explore, connect, and play.
When: Sundays, July 6 - August 10
Where: Glencairn Neighbourhood Rec Centre (Arts/Games Room & Spray Pad - with gym backup)
Class #1: 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm, Ages 5-8 (Capacity: 8)
Class #2: 2:30 pm - 3:30 pm, Ages 9-12 (Capacity: 8)
Cost: FREE! but Registration is required.

Kick off your summer with TD Bank Presents - Theatre in the Park as we enter our 13th season! We're thrilled to bring you our original production, "Breathe," free of charge in neighbourhood parks across Saskatchewan throughout May and June.
"Breathe" tells the enchanting story of a fish seeking refuge on an island inhabited by a reclusive dragon. Together, they must learn to do the impossible: adapt to change. This fun and thought-provoking performance, created in response to current issues, invites audiences of all ages to challenge their limiting beliefs, reminding us that we are all capable of more than we imagine and bigger than any boxes we're placed in.
As always, this production is an original creation by the talented Sum Theatre ensemble. Our stories come to life with catchy original music, colourful sets, props, and costumes!
