Our $5 Annual Membership: Small Fee, Huge Community Impact
Every year on September 1, our annual community memberships reset for the upcoming season (valid from September 1 through August 31). Whether you are a long-time resident or brand new to the neighbourhood, purchasing a membership is the easiest way to stay connected, stay active, and give back to your local community.
What Your Membership Offers
Program Eligibility: A valid membership is mandatory to register for any of our cost-recovery community programs—from children's soccer and youth crafts to adult yoga and fitness classes.
The City-Wide Agreement Passport: Your $5 membership is fully recognized across Regina. If a program you or your family want to join is full here, or if another neighbourhood offers a unique class we don't have, your card allows you to register there without purchasing a second membership.
Free Event Admission: Members enjoy free or heavily discounted entry to our neighbourhood pop-up events, including community movie nights, seasonal public skates, and winter carnivals.
Where Does Your $5 Go?
We are a 100% volunteer-run, non-profit organization. Every single dollar from our membership sales is reinvested directly back into our neighbourhood. Your $5 fee helps us cover:
Gear & Equipment: Purchasing equipment for youth sports and vital volunteer safety gear.
Donations/Initiatives: Funding local events.
Community Newsletter: Printing and distributing our neighbourhood newsletters to keep everyone informed.
How to Buy and Use It
Online Checkout: When registering for any program online via our forms, the confirmation email will remind you to purchase your $5 membership.
In-Person Registration: You can also purchase a physical membership card via cash or cheque at any of our seasonal Registration Nights hosted at the Glencairn Rec Centre.
Keep It Handy: Once purchased, you will receive a digital confirmation email. Keep this receipt of your membership card number ready when registering programs anywhere in Regina! or bring it to your first class.
